    Hi!

I hope you are doing well. I have a few questions about the Aspire 481PT 6644. I just purchased it open box at Best Buy, it was like $525. Do you think that's an okay deal?

    1) I understand the solid blue light and the solid orange light (amber they consider), but when I put my computer to sleep and it's not plugged in, it flashes orange (amber) - is that normal? My assumption is it's saying that it's not fully charged. But I just want to make sure it's not anything wrong with the battery.

    2) I updated two of the drivers on the Acer website under W8. And one of the drivers under W7 - the touchpad. And did the recommended installation of their updates, and the computer is kind of running slow. I am not sure why. Is there some other stuff I should install? Recommendations? Should I try installing more drivers from W7? IS there a way to test it? I also installed Chrome and Avast.

    3) Uninstall - what all programs can I uninstall? Like there seems to be a lot on that W8 interface, I started to, but there are also some programs I do not know about, and I just want to make sure it's safe to uninstall. I have been just using the desktop mode so far.

Thank you! I appreciate any help.
