    Hi friends,

I own an Acer Aspire M5-581T.
Everything with it works fine except this one problem.

While I am using it on battery (i.e. not charging), it shuts off unexpectedly. If the charger is connected, it runs just fine. No unexpected shut offs.

Can anyone suggest me a solution?
Is it battery related issue? should replacing the batter fix it?

    Thanks in Advance.

Most likely the battery capacity has been degraded (wear level is high).
Check that with an app of you choosing (I use Everest which is now called AIDA again but there are others).

Id the wear level is indeed high - the battery needs to be replaced.
