    I have got an acer aspire 5051 AWXM laptop. I want to replace the motherboard, can anyone tell me what motherboard is in this laptop? Also will any other motherboard from similar models work/fit with this laptop? What motherboards from which laptops will fit this laptop?

    Does anyone know where I can buy a used or new motherboard for this laptop?

    well, the 3050 and the 5050 share a mainboard. however, there are like 3 different boards. ebay would probably be the best bet.
