    Hi all,

I've scoured the net for a solution. i'm usually pretty good at figuring this stuff out, but this one is killing me.

Shutdown/Restart/Hibernate works fine. Sleep, however, doesn't.

    I have:
    - Brand new Acer Aspire One D225E (bought while travelling in phnom penh)
    - Windows 7 Ultimate fresh install

When I closed the lid, or manually tell it to go to sleep, it does. Everything shuts down, loads into RAM, and then there is one single orange light doing a very slow blink (similar to other laptops).

When i open the lid, it appears as if it's about to load. The power led turns blue, the hard drive led turns blue JUST for a couple seconds, then the hard drive led is gone. The only thing that is turned on at this point is the blue power led. I can feel heat coming from the CPU vent - so it's like the computer is on, but not thinking. The monitor is pitch black (no power whatsoever). Nothing is happening.

At this point, I need to hold the power button down for 8 seconds and force reboot.

    Help?
