Amazon is now taking pre-orders for the new larger screen Acer Aspire One. It also has a few improvements like mouse buttons on the bottom now instead of on the sides of the scroll pad.

Yes, that's the One (pun). There's been lots of articles about it but now they are starting to actually sell it.

If screen resolution would be 1200 x something, I would definetly buy it.

If anyone is interested, Amazon is now shipping. Be careful with regards to the battery as it is probably not the highest capacity battery that has been reviewed many places but a somewhat lower capacity, still a six cell, battery that should be good for about 5 to 6 hours. Acer says the higher capacity is in short supply.

I think Only the Blue version of the 10.1 is for sale, its "out of stock" on all the other website (including Amazon of course). Anyone have any idea how long it will take for the to start shipping, if it lets you pre-order does that generally mean a matter of days, weeks or months?

Also, Does anyone have any previous experience working with Acer and their warranty? I have a Dell XPS M1530 with 4 year parts and service so i am spoiled, but i would love to get one of these puppies but am wondering about their warranty and customer service. Anyone have experiences?

    Thanks! :D
