I looked at this unit and it appears to be ideal for my needs.

I would request from the group any pro/con thoughts prior
    to making a purchase.

    Thanks

    Here's a review.

It seems to be a good netbook although there are some cons- vertical resolution is too small and the screen itself is a glossy one.
That kind of defeats the purpose of the netbook- can't do any serious work and definitely not outside. Other than that it's OK but screen alone may be enough to put you off.

The only drawback to the 722 is that it uses the C50 APU whereas other 11.6" form factor systems come with the more powerful E350 APU. Systems with the E350 bump up the price into the $400+ range compared to the C50 systems which usually sell in the 300+ range. But the increase in performance makes using an E350 system a much more smoother experience than the C50.

Then again E350 has its effect on battery life.

Not by a whole lot. The C-50 & E-350 both have similar idle power consuption from what I can tell...plus with the E-350 you would tend to finish tasks quicker bringing the cpu back to idle quicker than the C-50.
