I am planning to buy an Acer Aspire One. Will I be able to upgrade the battery to 6-cell after a use of abt 7/8 months? Is it possible..?

not quite sure what you mean by "upgrade", do you mean to buy a 6cell battery separately in 7-8 months? If so, then yes, they are available now, I just picked up a 6 cell to go with my 3 cell.

Where did you get a 6 cell - I am jealous? I spoke to Acer today and they said they are not available as an after market accessory yet, and plans are not in place to release it yet if ever.

Local shop, www.shoprbc.com/ca, you need to look up the battery part number to find it.

    LC.BTP00.017

Decent price too, all things considered at this time.
