    Sorry if this is in the wrong area anyway here's the problem.

    Trying to fix a friends ZG5 8.9" screen that she broke ordered new screen and replaced it but the right 1/4 of the screen is black and i've changed lots of screens and have tried all the usual suspects before reaching this point,resolution,outdated driver,bios,ect all the normal fixes have now tried 2nd screen and exact same problem so any ideas ?

    The cable that connects the screen to the main unit might have worn out- replace it.
