    Hi

    I am new to this site. This is my first post and was wondering if someone could help me?

    I handed my laptop in for repair as it had a battery fault where battery wouldn't last longer than 2 hours so Acer fixed it under warranty. On the repair list it said new battery replacement followed by the part number.

    Right I fully charged the laptop as it was dead when sent back to me from repair. Now what happens is that I only use the laptop for web browsing and office work. Battery last no longer than 3 hours and takes 2-3 hours to fully charge. I also have the brightness set way below half way.

    I researched online and came across this software: BatteryCare. Now this is what it says in the detailed information;

    Model: Sanyo Li_Ion_4000mA
    Designed Capacity: 66600mWh
    Total Capacity: 42222mWh

    Anybody here know how do I recalibrate the battery or a full discharge/recharge cycle. It's also showing 4.33% wear level.
