Acer Aspire TimelineX 4830TG question..

Hi,

I have an Acer 4830TG laptop, I wanted to ask if this laptop support cell phone sim cards..? Is it possible to use sim cards with this laptop?

 

Probably not. There were supposed to be models with SIM card slots and I'm sure 5830TG was available with it (it had a cover for SIM card at the back).
That said, I guess you would have known if you had this feature - it would show in device manager and it would be visible somewhere (additional small cover).

In theory though, model of 4830 with SIM card was supposed to be available.

 

Yeah i know..the laptop has that look right? If it does support sim card, how do i check in device manager?

I have this Huawei 3G Module Version Driver , is it anyway related to 3G sim cards?

 

Do you have it as in there is a driver lile that on a DVD or on Acer support website or is the Huawei 3G modules listed in device manager?

That means nothing - as I wrote earlier there were supposed to be versions with 3G modems which does not mean that there actually were any.
Once again - look in the device manager.
