    Acer Aspire Upgrade to Vista Ultimate SP1

    I have a qestion.My laptop model is Acer Aspire 6920G.I use Vista Home Premium SP1.If i install Vista Ultimate SP1 will my drivers which i backed up on 3 DVDs work when I install them?

    Why wouldn't they? You are not installing a different OS.

    Well are Home Premium and Ultimate not that different

    They are the same OS. Ultimate has more features. The CORE is the same. Its not like you have drivers for XP and want to run for Vista.


    Example:

    1. You bought a Ford without leather seats.
    2. Now you want to change it for one with leather seats.

    You don't need to learn how to drive again :p.

    Note: Provided you keep the 32 bit architecture. If you move from Home 32 to Ultimate 64 then the drivers will not work.
