Heya! In the market for an affordable yet decent gaming laptop to carry with me to and from college which still packs a punch. Is the model mentioned reliable and of good quality? I know the components are good for what I want to do (CAD, lol, dota, hots etc). I've never owned an Acer before so that is why I'm asking about quality.

    Thank you!~

I am looking at this model specifically: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834315164

Quality is actually very good - no objections there.

I would like to remind you that new line of nVidia cards will be launched about June or July and will stay with us for two years, so if you don't need the notebook right now, you might consider postponing the purchase and buying an Aspire Nitro after its inevitable refresh with new nVidia cards.

I see, thank you for the insight, kinda getting into the swing of things again as I took a break from these things a while ago (buying new laptops, checking current spect etc). My only issue with waiting is that the price could be well above the $900 I have in my budget for a laptop. Thank you for the insight
