The day following light normal use my recently purchased Acer Aspire V17 Nitro Black Edition fails to power on or light up when plugged in.

Pressing the power on button does nothing & the laptop's 'plugged in' light doesn't come on when plugging the unit into an outlet.

The day before the odd behavior I transferred the install directory of a Steam game via an external HDD & loaded the game to ensure it works then shutdown the laptop as normal.

I think there is a button on the bottom for a battery reset, since we do not have access to unplug the battery. I would also take notice of any burnt plastic smells within the laptop. If you aren't getting the blue power connected light there is a fair bet that it is either the motherboard or your power supply. I have a feeling it is your power supply or the outlet that you are plugging it into.
