im planning to buy this laptop:

Amazon.com: Acer Aspire V5-573PG-9610 15.6-Inch Touchscreen Laptop (Cool Steel): Computers & Accessories

Or the link to their own website here:
    Acer | Aspire V5 | Aspire V5-573PG-9610 | Overview

It doesn't say anything about what type of panel the screen has. Ok, it's not full HD but does this screen have IPS properties or is that only a TN screen?

I really need to know so if any of you could help me to find out, I would be sooo grateful! I have tried to google about this laptop but since this laptop is not so popular, it seems like it's very hard to find informations about it.

So please help me out guys! :)

And would you rather pick this laptop instead of this one:

Does the i7:u make that much differences compared to the i5:u?

Thx for your help in advance guys!

The V5-573G has an IPS panel in the 1920x1080 version. Not sure about touch(PG) model, but it doesn't seem to go against reason to think that it should have one too.

Can never tell with these damn laptops though, I'd wait for more input(though this part of the forum is pretty quiet).
