I have been having some weird problems when I had Windows Vista or Windows XP x64 edition installed on my Acer Aspire 5002WLMi.

I was wondering if anyone is having these issues or has a known fix for them:

    1) Power Button: I go into the Power Settings in Control Panel and set up the power to bring the laptop into Hibernation whenever it is pressed, however, sometimes when I press the button the laptop would just immediately shut off, and sometimes it would actually hibernate.

    2) Keyboard: Sometimes for no reason at all when I'm typing, I press a key on the keyboard and a different character appears. For example I press 'N' and some unicode character appears or a [, ], :, +.

    3) Standby/Hibernate: Sometimes when I do successfully get the laptop into standby or hibernation it will stay there, if I try to start windows it won't load. Just stays at the black screen forever, won't even try to load.

    4) LCD: The laptop display is supposed to turn off after a certain amount of time, however when it does, it stays like that. I press a key to try to turn on the display but nothing happens. I just have to press and hold the power button until the laptop shuts off.
