    Acer Aspire inverters in the uk?

    my acer aspire 1520 is out of warranty and the inverter has gone, I'm only able to work on it by connecting it to an external monitor. I've been desperately trying to find somewhere that sells the inverter and can't find a **** place, does anyone have an insights? I a) don't want to send my notebook off for repair and b) wanna miss out on the extra labour/postage cost, so all help and suggestions are greatly welcomed. It seems that the 1520 inverter is particularly rare, which is very frustrating!
