Good afternoon~~I just purchased an Acer Aspire laptop and noticed that there are (2) hard drives, Acer C and Data D. Could you please explain this to me? Can you save directly to the D drive, or is it essentially the same drive as the C drive? Thanks in advance for your info!![]()

That is the same drive just divided to 2 partitions

This is correct but technically there are 3 partitions as the recovery partition is hidden from the user.
msdebbiea acer do this so that you can keep your data separate from windows(acer c), so that in the event you need to reinstall windows the data won't be lost. -
