    Hello to all!
I have a problem with the Acer Aspire 5738g.
In practice, when I touch the alimentation's cable or move the computer with the cable attached, it turns off.
It is not normal because you just push a little the cable and the computer turns off.
I do not have the battery.
Do you know how to solve?
Sorry for my bad english.

Alimentation cable? Do you mean power cord?

No problem- just clarifying. I have an Aspire 5740G which uses the same chassis as 5738G and I have the same problem.

In my opinion the power jack is too lose - in time it starts too lose contact and that's what's happening to you.
I'm thinking about buying a new one and soldiering it in. (an example)
