I have Acer Aspire 5942G that comes with preinstalled Linpus Linux. I installed Win 7 Ultimate x64 and all the drivers from ACER support website.

My problem is that I could not use the upper right button. Quick Start Guide names it: "Acer Backup Manager button" - the blinking blue one with 2 folders on it.

I do not have Acer Backup Manager software - it's not on the Resource DVD. According to the Acer web site (Section: Technical Specification | Software), it should come with the notebook.

    QUESTIONS:
How is this button working under Win7 - what does it do ?

Where from could I get the missing software
