Hi People..As u may have guessed i am new to this, i welcome your comments about my query.
I have an Acer Aspire 5920g - had it a few years love it!
Over time i have found that the charger has stopped working and i have replaced it twice (please note i have always replaced them with genuine chargers, none of those hideous imatations!)
the model of the original is: pa-1900-04
i recently recieved a new replacement for it but found the model number to be: adp90sb bb, even tho it was advertised as the PA model, i questioned the seller (ebay) who said that the they are the same chargers, as the charger seemed to work i assumed no different (please note the input and output power is the same for both other wise i would have asked for a refund!)
My query is that, recently my battery life has deteriorated a lot! it used to last about 90mins after a full charge of high settings, now it lasts 45mins half! (again on full spec)
I assumed that as the laptop is a few years old and that batterys arnt meant to last a lifetime that the battery had served it course. I checked my battery wear and its a 74% i assume this is good?
I ordered a new battery off ebay (genuine - used) should be here soon, i am hopping that this will rectify my poor battery life problem.
what i want to know is, is my new charger the new problem??? i have been using it for about month and half with no problems, and this battery problem has just come on in the last day or so???????
if anyone has any advice for me it would be appreciated, as u can assume i am some what confused.
i apoligise for the long winded message as i couldnt think of a way to shorten it and also apoligise for spelling errors!
Thank You
