As many of you probably have known, the new Acer laptops (Aspire 16xx series) are advertised to come with a enhanced LCD screen with the Acer CrystalBrite Technology. But what does this really indicate??
Is it really Acer's version of the "glossy screen" or just a total gimmick name like Dell's "UltraSharp"??
Dell's UltraSharp has misled us to believe that it's their term for the glossy screen but in fact it's NOT. I've called a number of resellers but as expected, none of those salesperson was able to answer my question.

I'm interested in the Acer 1680 series, but just need to confirm if it has the glossy screen, which is a deal-breaker for me.

    Thanks.
