Hey i have a Acer Aspire 5050-5554 and the dvd drive has troubles reading a few dvdr's that i've burned. They work on my other computers in my house useing XP. they also work on my buddies dell who has vista loaded as well, but he said that he downloaded dell's vista drivers, cause they already have them post on their site. I thought it might have been the drivers so i uninstalled them and let windows reinstall them. their isn't even any dvd/cd rom drivers on the acer web site. does anyone have any suggestions???? please help! :) i'm getting desperate lol. thanks!!!

What buring software are you using to burn dvd's? Personally I'd use the #1 buring software which is nero 7 but that's just me ;)

    Try the 30 day demo
