Acer EX4420-5963 OS Installation problem

Hi, i just bought a Acer EX4420-5963 from Bestbuy Outlet, but doesn't have installed any OS system,
I want to install WinXP, but HDD is not recognized, What can i do, i doesn't find any HDD sata driver for this Model.

Can any one helpme with this.

I just check the site where i bought the Notebook, i found another one, and have this note:

NOTE: Operating system is not included.
"unit Works but Will Require the Installation of a Sata/raid Driver Through a Floppy/cdrom Drive in Order to Install Any Windows Os. (unit Will Flash "no Hard Drive" if Not Installed.)"

 

Basically you need some sata drivers for your laptop. There are 1 of 2 things you can do:

1. Slipstream some sata drivers into an XP installation disk. There's a guide on how to do this HERE

2. Go into your bios, and change the Sata mode from ACHI to IDE. This will allow you to then install XP. Then you can install the drivers once you are in XP, but it may be trickier than it sounds.

But i try to find this drivers all over the internet, even in Acer website, but i didn't found the driver for this notebook

Thanks but i already search in that site, but i doesn't have drivers for SATA HDD, and this is the driver that i need to Install OS.

Apparently for AMD/Nvidia chipsets you don't need to slipstream the drivers - check here. Just install XP and then install the SATA drivers(which are included in the chipset drivers(SMBus driver on the ACER's web site)).
