    Hello,

As far as I understand, this port replicator provides 4 additional USB 2.0 ports. I don't care much about its' other features, especially regarding the fact most reviews I read describe it as failure, however, my good old 5930G could use some extra USBs...

Could somebody having this EasyPort IV or its datasheet provide me with the information about which pins are for usb power and data, so that I could do something similar myself?

    Yours sincerely

If all you want is USB why not just a powered USB hub?

I would prefer extra USB 2.0 ports operating at full power & max speed, since the notebook is capable of that. I have my reasons. And I'll have to buy the hub anyway, if I get the info I need.
