Hello there,I reinstalled the system a few days ago and decided to install Empowering platform again and use ePower and Performance Management only.
I was very pleased when I saw that ePower is finally doing what it should do,lower the clock and voltage of my CPU when set to High or Medium CPU speed. It wasn't doing that half year ago when I was using it for the last time.
But of course I am having problems with it.![]()
When I power on my laptop I often get a message "Empowering platform encountered an error..." and that have to manually run it again.
It is also having problems with remembering settings for different profiles, suddenly changing brightness from 100% to 0% when on AC...
I have Aspire 5112 Wlmi and using Empowering Management for Aspire 5110 model.Do you also have these problems and did you find a way to fix them??
I find ePower interesting to use now because I don't have to use two programs,RMClock to lower the clock and the voltage and ePower for screen brightness and extend battery time.

Does this mean nobody has problems with Empowering platform,or nobody use it anymore?
-
I don't use it at all. I see no use for any of the Empowering Technology software whatsoever. In fact, I eventually just removed it.

I use 2.5.4006 and no problems so far..

I found this 2.3.2015 Empowering platform at http://support.acer-euro.com/drivers/downloads.html to be the newest version for my model. -

hi...
How can i check what version of the ePowerManager Management i have. And if i need to upgrade it, do i just install it, or do i need to remove the prior version first?
