I've had this notebook for approximately two years, and it was purchased as new. I don't recall having to use (CD-ROM and floppy) disks in order to setup programs on the notebook, as there was an installation program already on the hard drive which installed the various programs automatically.

I believe that disks are usually included with new notebooks, in the event that programs (and/or operating system) need to be reinstalled. However, and although I am not certain, I don't recall any disks being included with my notebook!?

If there weren't disks included with my notebook, then I probably would have inquired about that with the retailer. But, I don't recall doing that!? Therefore, it seems more likely that I (should) have my notebook disks somewhere.

However, after trying to find the notebooks disks by searching the house for a couple of hours I can't find any!? Either I've lost them, or never had them to begin with??

From (inconclusive) web search results, it seems that there may have been several disks that should accompany this notebook (operating system - Windows XP Home, utilities, and back-up).

Can anyone please confirm what disks (CD-ROM, floppy), if any, that were (supposed to be) included with the Extensa 2302LC notebook?

    Many thanks!
