    Acer Extensa 4420 ATI Radeon x1250 driver for xp

    Hi! This is my first post and i have yet to learn if this is the proper place for this thread or how to search for other similar posts, so I apologize in advance if I violate any rules.

    Okay. I downgraded my Acer extensa 4420 to xp and have been having a hard time finding drivers.
    From what I understand, the ATI Radeon x1250 card is made for Vista, so I need a modifier in order to run it on XP. However, I have tried all sorts of things to make it work. I downloaded the ATI Catalyst program only for it to tell me "no compatible hardware found". I downloaded drivers that say it is for the x1250, same result. I have also downloaded a driver modifier program "DH Mobility Modder.NET" and tried modifying the driver (not sure if I'm using it right...)

    Any suggestions???
