I have an intermittant display probem. It freezes up and I have to flex the lid a bit and it will work for a while. I tried replacing the cable to the display to no avail. Do you think it may be the LCD? Has anyone heard of this issue?
    Thanks

It is the connector on the back of the LCD, the pins on it arent connecting properly. When you get a freeze like that, try pressing on the front of the screen in the general area where the connector is located while its in the laptop, it will become unfrozen again, you will more than likely have to take a small safety pin or something and lift the pins on that connector on the back of the LCD a bit. It's not the computer itself that freezes its just the screen will show the last thing while its on and then fade slowly to white. Try fixing the pins a bit on the back of the LCD.
