    Hi all,

is there a possibility to set a wake-up date and time so that the notebook automatically powers on at the specified time (from a complete shutdown or hibernation)?

Usually, it is called RTC wake up, alarm or similar. As long as I know, there is no such setting directly in the BIOS, however, some systems allow to manage this via ACPI system. (In linux via "/proc/acpi/alarm".)

I am actually looking for a solution for linux, however, hints from any other operating systems would be welcome, too.

    Thanks,
    Milan
