    Hi

I'm wondering if anyone else has had problems using a tv with the acer extensa 5xxx series.

My notebook has a core 2 duo and a Radeon HD2400 XT card.

The little prick won't detect my TV through a s-video to composite cable.

I've tried istalling a later version of catalyst. I've tried with factory settings. I've tried stripping all the acer bloatware. I even tried ATI TT without success.

Of course Acer europe have been delightfully incompetent in helping me.

Has anyone else seen anything similar? Will this torment ever end?

Hmm, I'm not sure how that would help me. I have a 7-pin jack and suitingly a seven pin connector. Also I'm running vista.

    Anyone else have any advice?
