    Hello, can someone provide me a mod BIOS for the follow error:

    02F0 CPU ID: FB No Microcode Update Loaded for Alternate Processor

    I've installed a Core due Duo T7700 on my laptop but each time I have to press F1 for starts it.

    It's unlikely that anyone here will help you since the person that used to do mods like that unfortunately does not have the time to do so anymore and is not active here.

    Do you have the latest BIOS? Microcodes are updated with newer BIOSes (not always but often enough).
    So before you start asking for a modified one make sure you have the latest stock one and if not - update.

    Yes, you are right - no newer BIOS for your notebook. And your research led you to kizwan's thread - it was him who doesn't have time to participate in the forums anymore.
    I meant to point you to bios-mods.com next but I see you've already posted there - this is your best chance of success, I'm afraid we won't be able to help you here.

    Fortunately an user from bios-mods.com helped me, he has inserted a specific cpu microcode for my T7700 SLAF7 in a stock bios v1.36 and now the problem has gone away.


    edit: I'd like to post the bios.rar but I receive an error message during upload...what could it be?

    There are two problems - one RAR files are not allowed (ZIP files are though). Second - max size of attachment is 0.5MB - It's safe to assume that the BIOS file is larger than that.
    It would be best to use a third party website to upload the file and post a link here.

    Sorry for the inconvenience but there's nothing I can do about it. :eek:
