Hello I'm from Poland and I am new here.
I had Acer Extensa 5630z with orginal specification:
Pentium t3200
2x2GB DDR2 667MHz Ram
128G SSD370S Transcend.
Windows 10 Home
Last friday I'd buy Core2Duo mobile t7500 Merom, and install it on my computer, then reboot.
When computer turn on i saw error message like this http://forum.notebookreview.com/thr...lternate-processor-press-f1-to-resume.732352/ and computer 2 times beep beep everytime when I turned it on.
This makes me crazy and then I reinstall original pentium t3200.
I check the internet for newer bios, but any original bios don't support the core2duo with VTx for this laptop computer.
I find and read this thread:
http://forum.notebookreview.com/threads/acer-laptop-with-phoenix-bios-bios-mod-request.480992/page-9
and found interesting information "New modified BIOS image with CPU Microcode Update for CPUID 6FBh (T7500).
Extensa 5630G BIOS 1.36 T7500 CPUID 6FBh MOD.rar
( MD5: CBF906FE9E06FA2A8C58BC493B3CA80C)
- This is only for notebook with Intel Core 2 Duo T7500 ( CPUID 6FBh)"
on post #87
and I download this file.
To create USB Disk I use Rufus Software http://rufus.akeo.ie/ because the usb-bootdisk program on thread does not work on Windows 10.
To flash new bios i must reboot computer with this pendrive and use
phlash16.exe /x /s /mode=3 HMA136.WPH
At command prompt.
I have some question to more advanced users than me:
This is safety method for flashing bios?
After I succes Flashing bios, error message and beeping was gone and fixed?
Is this high-risk to brick my notebook with flashing bios from this unauthorized mod of original bios?
Its better use T3200 or t7500 for flashing proces?
Do I must replace the bios battery after flashing process?( A Battery in this model is hide, and I must replace all the parts, to the last screw to replace it, this is boring)
I dont want to brick my notebook, and I want to use t7500 without 2x beep everytime. Could anybody ask of this questions. I'm sorry for my english language.

First of all you should make the USB-boot disk with the program mentioned i9n the original thread - make it at non-Win 10 machine but use that particular program - other do not necessarily work.
Secondly - this method of flashing BIOS is reasonably safe but as always when flashing a BIOS there is a risk involved.
The beep should be removed as soon as the microcode for your CPU is added to the BIOS and it's no longer unrecognized.
You don't have to replace the CMOS battery. -
Hello.
Thank you for answer.
Now I solved my problem with t7500 and update microcode for it.
I upgrade Bios from link in the first post in this thread and it works fine.
To Flash proces I use Bootdisk maker- rufus. On the USB Disk I unpack the archive with modified BIOS, and then reboot computer. A Processor what I use to Flash process is older- t3200 DualCore. After Flash process, program Phlash16 inform me about end of flashing process, and I put "return" button, and then computer reboot... system work good at newer version of bios.
Flash proces Done, this bios version works good on Extensa 5630z . After it I replace t3200, put t7500, and everything is OK.
Now I have computer with hardware VT, 4MB cache L2, and it don't forced me to click F1 button, I dont hear beep.
Best Regards
