So a friend of mine just bought a Acer Extensa EX4420-5963, but it came with Windows Vista. He didnt like vista so he switched it over to Windows XP. The problem is that the drivers that were available were for the
EX4220 not the EX4420. Some worked anyway but he is missing important drivers like WiFi & ethernet.

The next step seems to me that I should find out who makes which components and to download those individually, but I don’t know where/how to start. Does anyone have experience with this? Can you point me in the right direction? Note: I’ve been reading on Google all day. I know to start at Google, but the links seem to be of little help.
