Hi!
First off all, sorry for asking if already solved this, but I am having problems with the search button.
I have been having problems with my Acer Ferrari 1005 lot of times, and Acer did a little to solve this. Only once they changed my CPU (a TL-60@2Ghz) with a TL-58@1,8Ghz, because it gets very hot. I noticed that and asked to get a new TL-60 back, because I paid for it and didn't want to loose any performance. I actually have that TL-60 but gets really hot! Being idle, it doesn't low the 60ºC, but using it hardly, it gets 100ºC!!!!!!!! Of course, I have problems if I have to put my hand on the palmrest, because it gets very hot.
The real problem is that my notebook doesn't have any more warranty, so Acer is not going to give me any more solutions (if they already gave me any working one). Is there any way to solve this? Because I haven't seen any BIOS upgrade or anything.
I have noticed that the fan runs very slow till the CPU gets 75ºC more or less, then runs faster, and after reaching 80ºC or more, it runs top speed. I think it would be great if I could make the fans start working before the 75ºC, so I can make the CPU be cooler.
Any advice will be welcome.
