ok, now i know that the ferrari 3200 has two slots for memory. that's what the documentation and what everyone else is saying. however, upon openning the cover for the memory, i only see one slot for upgrading the ram, which already is occupied with a 256mb stick. my system has 512mb total, so where is the other slot??? i must be blind. someone show me the light!

Yeah, I'm 90% sure it's under the keyboard.

I've been looking at these and it's something that I've just read too.
Apparently there's 1 user accesable(base) and 1 under keyboard, which means it doesn't really go up to 2Gb its more like 1.2Gb in reality.

Does any one know if this is common with many other acer's?

What do you mean it doesn't go to 2GB? You just put a 1GB stick in each slot. Am I missing something?
