I am working on a Ferrari 3400. Replaced the AC adapter.

Without thinking I removed the thermal pad that was on the heatsink and the top plate that covers the northbridge.

The CPU and GPU are making contact using Arctic Ceramique. But when I install the piece that covers the northbridge it is not making contact.

If I put a utility knife blade between the contact points it touch's.

The only thing I can find is this stuff from Performance PC's. It comes in sheets that are 0.5 and 1 mm thickness.

Koolance VID Cooler Thermal Padding Products Model: ACC-VID001 [ACC-VID001] : Performance-PCs.com, ... sleeve it and they will come

The way the heat sink covers the CPU GPU and some unknown to me components seems okay.

But there is no contact what so ever with the northbridge. Here are some pics. Also the pin at the end of the northbridge cooler is not attached to the motherboard.

This picture shows the stand on the end of the northbridge heat sink.
