    Hi,

Just got my new Acer Ferrari 4003 however having trouble connecting onto our wireless network. Its supposed to be connecting to a Netgear DG843GT router however the Acer is not picking up the signal even when i put it 1 foot away. I have tryed changing the settings about for about a full day and still cant connect the wireless.
I have tryed to update the Broadcom driver, but i can't find any neither can windows update.

It has connected briefly before but the packets where absolutely massive 29k+ and as low as 190.

This is starting to annoy me abit as i paid good money for this laptop and would expect it to work straight out of the box.

Driver on the router is the latest of what i can make out.

If anyone can come up with any solutions i coudl try it would be much appreciated.

    Kind Regards,

Have you tried the Wireless Network Setup Wizard? Also, Make sure it is set to hook up with ANY network that is within range not just preferred networks. Then also see if you wireless device is turned on. There should be a switch/button on the front side of the laptop that will blink orange when it is enabled.
