Ive never gotten a chance to play around or feel a Ferrari before, but I have read countless numerous times where the build is top notch, easily better than Sonys, Toshibas, HPs, etc, and even on the same level as IBM thinkpads and apples. Is this true? Now I know it is a CF body, but how well made and solid is this model? Is the entire chasis CF?

Build quality is top notch. CF lid and keyboard with rubberized area surrounding it to rest your palms. Kind of a rubber tire theme to it. Only problem I have with it is the loud fan which is persistent and gets even louder when the system is taxed.

Purchased mine about a month and a half ago, but only got it loaded up and ready to go a couple of weeks ago. Near as I can tell, only the lid is CF, while the bottom and sides of the case, as well as the frame around the display is plastic. The area around the keyboard is rubbery, not unlike a slick racing tire (no, really). The display is a great; matte finish, high-resolution, and very bright. It was my primary reason for selecting this laptop. My only (relatively minor) complaints; keyboard not as solid as my last laptop (HP XE3) and the fan is a bit load and runs all the time. Hope this helps.

Although the keyboard may not be as "solid" as say, one of the popular HP laptop keyboard, I much prefer the Ferrari keyboard as it has the perfect sensitivity and spring pressures, and the slight curvature is nice too. The size and spacing of all the keys is perfect from my viewpoint.
