Just bought this retrogaming in mind and did full repaste, disassembled whole thing. took all heatpads off and Arctic MX-4 everywhere. Temps are not bad, maxes 75'C. But one thing that annoys me is loud fan. It turns on immediately in power up... Does anybody have acfancontrol .ini file for this? Bios is newest A37.

Second thing: Acer don't have support for this anymore so drivers are hard to find, especially ati xpress 200 chipset drivers. Tried few packages but still device manager show standard dual pci-ide controller and standard pci-bridge and so... Windows XP is the problem with this, Windows 7 finds drivers from microsoft's server.

If somebody has recovery cd-image for this it would be superb!

Seems like always-on-fan is normal. I managed to find original recovery disks and made .iso files from those. Installed original WinXP and works nice. It overclocks from 2,2GHz to 2,4GHz with setfsb.
