    Hi everyone...

I've had a ferrari 5000 for over a year now and never had any problems with it until today. When I power on my laptop it boots up to the Ferrari picture where it has the "Press F2 to enter setup" and it just stays there. I try and press F2 to enter set up but none of the keys on the keyboard seem to work. It just stays frozen on that picture. I'm able to use the CD ROM but it still leaves me in the same place. Any help would be appreciated....I'm completely lost in what to do!

    Thanks.

Can you remove the harddisk drive and do a hard reset?
Sometimes if the harddisk fails SMART test it wouldn't even pass the POST Screen.

    Hey thanks for the reply!

How do I exactly do a hard reset on the harddrive disk??
I've never done it before, thanks!

    Fred.

    Can you read?
I said take out the harddisk THEN do a hard reset on the laptop.
Hard Reset = Press and hold power button with no power source connected for 30 secs.
Then put back the power and turn on without the harddisk if it reaches the no operating system found then it is a confirm harddisk issue.
