    Acer Ferrari Dvd Drive

    Hi
    Can anyone please advise me ?,i have an Acer Ferarri 4000series & the dvd drive is shot,i have figured out how to remove the drive (simple unlock switch then slide it out),my question is this,for this model is this a "unique" drive so to speak (Acer Support for a replacement) or can a universal one or one from another Acer slide in and work just like that ?.
