I have an Acer Ferrari One that I just got.

When I put the computer to sleep and then open it to use it again, the Fn+arrow keys no longer work for controlling the brightness, however the Fn + up/down arrows still works to control volume.

Whenever I wake it from sleep, it gets stuck at a very high brightness and I cannot even adjust it through windows, I am forced to restart so that the Fn+left/right arrows works to toggle the brightness again.

Any idea on how to fix this?

    Thanks for any help.

It's a Windows 7 problem and not a laptop problem. Google it and you find tons of forums about this. I don't think this problem is fully resolved. Only temporary solutions like restarting or disabling some features in power settings, etc.
