    Can anyone help?

Last night, when shutting down by Acer Ferrari 3200, I suddenly saw the hibernation bars - which was strange as I'd hit the off button. The computer is now in hibernation and I cannot find a way of getting it out.

I have removed the battery and power supply, but the power light is on (but weak). When I force turn off the computer and remove both battery and power supply, all lights go out. But when I put the battery back in, the power light comes on before I turn it on. THEN, when I turn it on, I hear the whir of the CD drive and the Num lock and Caps locks lights come on, but the hard drive led DOES NOT.

I don't get the bios. I don't get any options to boot from disk. In short, I have a black screen and no movement beyond the two LEDs on the num and caps locks.

I had an idea to open up the case and disconnect the reserve battery, but i fear this action.

    CAN ANYONE HELP ME?
