All 8930G-7665 users please run CPU-Z and tell me what kind of CPU is installed in your laptop

According to Acer, the 8930G-7665 supposed to come with an Intel Core2 Quad Q9000 (2.0GHZ, 6MB cache, 1066MHZ FSB)

However when I ran CPU-Z I am getting an Intel Core2 Duo P7350 as found in the 8930G-6247 setup.

Before I blow a head gasket, how accurate is CPU-Z and how can I verify my CPU? Is there another ultility?

    Thanks

If you're running the newest version, very accurate.

Pull up System in CP and see what it has listed as your CPU and at what speed.

Check under device manager and see what it says under Processor/CPU.

Here is the CPU comparison from Intel.

The main difference beside the L2 cache is that one is quad core and the other is dual core (P7350)

    The Q9000 is basically a P7350 x 2 (Two P7350 cores on one chip).

Check your control panel->system and device manager to confirm what CPU is being reported by Vista.
