    Software and drivers I managed to get in this way. Brought back the system to its factory settings, then the Acer eRecovery program after selecting the appropriate option burned a CD with all driverami and applications.

    However, it is a problem which no one knows the solution, even support.
    I reinstalled the system, installed the drivers + software. Virtual keyboard started to work correctly, Acer Ring also runs, but it is impossible to navigate by touch. When you run the Acer Ring bottom screen acts like a big mirror touchpad. So, for example, several in the lower right corner of the cursor / point shows me on the top screen in the bottom left corner. The situation illustrates the movie -> MOV-0049.3gp - YouTube

    This sounds like a similar problem to the 8930G fingerprint reader. In some cases (I can't remember the details of when and which OS it affects but I have suffered the problem previously when trying to reinstall the fingerprint software) the reader only works when the finger is swiped from the bottom of the reader to the top, rather than the other way round (the way it should work). I know there's a patch for the 8930G which involves changing a registry key value and in our case it's called the ReverseSwipe patch, or the registry can be edited manually of course.

    Watching the videos and reading your desription of the problem just made me wonder if there's a similar workaround. Apologies if I'm totally off the mark here.

    I'd suggest you have a root around and maybe contact Acer Support to see if there's any similar registry patch for your Ring software?
