In principle yes. But no sign that any of the BIOS modders have an acer to play with yet :-(

What BIOS settings do you think would be useful other than VT?

Anybody interested in the TM 4730G? I think it uses the same BIOS as the Extensa 4630G.

    EDIT: 9-May.
LOL, no takers, not a single reply.
Well I took these pics to post so may as well post them.

    Information, Security and Exit
    [IMG]
    Just as normal.

    Main and Boot
    [IMG]
Swapped some things around on the Main and Boot, seemed the boot options would be better on the boot menu ;)

    Power Menu
    [IMG]
    Added the missing Power menu.

    Advanced Menu
    [IMG]
Expanded Advanced menu to show hidden options.

Had a bit of trouble with the IDE config causing BIOS problems so have removed it for now.

Bottom line. There isn't enough interest in BIOS mods to make it worth while. :(

I'm trying to get the VRAM of 4500MHD to 128MB instead of current 64MB. I don't play games but many Adobe software require at least 128MB VRAM for GPU acceleration, which I'd like to use.

that wont be able to be changed in the bios surely as the Vram is dedicated ram on the graphics and not the system ram

Any chance of this mod being made for the Acer 5315 bios?

P.S. thron your bios does work with it, its only 1MB
