I just bought the Aspire 7520 but when i have a all black screen there is a white haze across the bottom half of the screen being brightest at the bottom and fading away towards the centre , Is it supposed to be like that or have i got a faulty one ?

Light bleed is inevitable. It just depends on the severity.

Definitely agree with what Lithus said.

Personally I find the light leakage of my 5920G to be quite less severe than the light leakage on Dell and some other laptops.

The haze is across the bottom half all the way to the centre
