Greetings :
I'm one of the group that bought this laptop from newegg, now at 2500 sold.
Something came up and I have decided to step in for a minute to steer you straight as an arrow.
Model is E5-573G-52G3
This model comes with 8Gb sodimm 204 pin DDR3L-PC3-12800 ram stick, I decided to upgrade to 16MB, I checked out this 8GB stick on the the seller web page as the ebay store page did not state whether this was 1.35V or not, the web page shows it was 1.35V so I bought all numbers matched web page and store page, many of these bargain ones are sold now, I sent an email to seller and asked if this ram was 1.35 v to make sure, two days later I got an email and he said it 1.5V ram, I thought about it and refused delivery and bought a 1.35V Rip Jaws from G Skill 8GB on the bay, ebay cust service agreed refund is due, this item says for 3rd and 4th gen (haswell) Intel,, in other words these generations require 1.35V.
The processor in this unit is a Broadwell CPU and Broadwell requires DDR3L-1.35V as well and is 5th generation.
The problem is using 1.5V can mess up your cpu, here is an alert from asus on this for haswells
Upgraders: 1.35V memory is required!
Please note we fit 1.35V memory into our G750s. New Haswell CPUs require this and using 1.5V memory can cause problems along the lines of:
> Overheating
> Damage to the CPU IMC (due to the increased potential difference)
> Greater battery use than our stated values.
Also remember for every DIMM you add you increase the power consumption by 1-3W each, depending on what you buy.
Once I get ahold of a G750 to borrow for a few days I'll do an upgrade guide.

here is an alert from MSI global as well on this same topic.

No sweat this came from intel info.
Therefore use only what in these laptops right now DDR3L 1.35V ,sodimm and make sure its 1.35V, 1.5V ram is no good for these.
Enjoy your laptop, you earned it.

From ark intel on i5-5200U
memory: DDR3L 1333/1600, LPDDR3 1333/1600
LPDDR3 is not an issue this ram is for handheld devices--it has many power off states,,so DDR3L 1600 is the correct one, here and matches, different ram makers not an issue for dual channel or flex(less then 8GB like 4GB)-flex would map out the smallest ram size on the larger and this would be dual channeled--8GB for 4 and 8GB--4 from each, whereas 8GB x 2 16GB in dual channel mode.
