    Kizwan,
Respect your reason for work and other responsebility. Everybody is very greatfull for your work. You are really the top. I discovered that when I looked at your threads. It is very dissapointing for us to have to go somewhere else. Hope you return soon. For me it is specially disapointing, since I only joined the beginning of May and therefore could not benefit from your services. I had to wait for your return, which would be around now.
Anyway, again, respect, and I wish you and your family all the best.

No- the other way around. You should be able to use any card you want.
Can you check with a different card?

    It s weird
I tried another card, atheros, the same with original, i got this message
"PXE-E01: PCI Vendor and Device IDs do not match"
All of this with bios 3.13, in win, device manager i can see it, but i can t connect to the internet.
If i use bios 2.84, i got no messege at the boot, but in win, when i tried to install drivers it says, please insert card.

It is a BIOS issue but not a whilelist.
There are more BIOSes available at Acer ftp.

Also disable network boot in BIOS is possible.

    Hi :)

could you please tell me more about how you recovered your 5652? I flashed the 3.66 too and i was not able to recover!
I tried it via Crisis described in this guide: http://forum.notebookreview.com/acer/480992-acer-laptop-phoenix-bios-bios-mod-request.html#

Is the USB-Stick maybe the Problem?

I have almost the same Notebook like Slashman and it would be very nice, if you you send/create me an EIST opened BIOS.
My Notebook is the Packard Bell I-Power GX-M-011-GE,...
I have the PB G15.D16 BIOS, and yes i tried the G15.D20 BIOS - but in this Version the GPU is overheating in Idle!
    DL Link: http://www.file-upload.net/download-4417857/PBG15.D16.whp.html
Can you unlock everything/put SLIC 2.1 in it (Packard Bell)?

    Hi all!

I want to upgrade my Acer Extensa 5230e. (Celeron 2,2GHz P 900 cpu)
    I have bought a used T4300 cpu, and I have updated the bios 1.29 - 1.36.
The new bios is working, but if the T4300 is on the m.board, the notebook doesn't boot.

I don't know if the used T4300 cpu is functional...
A bios mod could help me?
    What can I do?

What are the unlocked features of this BIOS for TJ75? Does it allow me to use other WiFi cards then the Atheros ARB93? I.e. Intel 6230?

Acer does not and never have blacklisted any Wi-Fi cards so you can use almost any card (as long as it's not meant for Lenovo).

EDIT: I should have been more clear on this- Packard Bell is owned by Acer and TJ75 is Aspire 5740Gwith different chassis. So it applies to both.

Unfortunately a Intel N-6230 doesn't work, but shows as "cannot start in (10) in Windows 7 device manager.

    Hi.
I cant use search function, so maybe mi question was answered already.
So i have an Acer Aspire 5730ZG with Intel GMA 4500MHD inside. The latest official bios for it is v. 1.23 from acer ftp. The same family as Acer Aspire 5930 maybe.
Can i request a fully unlocked modded bios for that model?
I mean for changing video card memory settings, cpu virtualization, etc.
    Thanks in advance.

I just bought a 7741g, and I'd like to overclock the cpu a bit.
Will the modified bios do the trick (SetFSB doesn't find the right pll)?
    Thank you.

    acer aspire 7730g
any processor update, i would really like it to work with the q9100,
and why does most computers work with the q9000 and not the q9100?

    http://global-download.acer.com/GDFiles/BIOS/BIOS/BIOS_Acer_3636_A_A.zip?acerid=633892923092433084&Step1=Notebook&Step2=Aspire&Step3=Aspire 7730G&OS=721&LC=en&BC=Acer&SC=EMEA_9

allso the travelmate 7730g seems to have a newer bios witch seems to work with the aspire model too just updated mine with it
    http://global-download.acer.com/GDFiles/BIOS/BIOS/BIOS_Acer_3810_A_A.zip?acerid=634050125553951960&Step1=Notebook&Step2=TravelMate&Step3=TravelMate 7730G&OS=721&LC=en&BC=Acer&SC=PA_6
so if you could unlock the hidden menus and if possible update cpu code within it
