    BIOS MOD for Acer Aspire 1660 for setting NX-bit required.
    CPU is capable of performing NX service.
    Windows 8 installation refused for BIOS related reasons.
    BIOS Update by Acer not provided any longer.

    We are running thin on BIOS modders, so you would be better off trying bios-mods.com.
    I'm not sure if it can be done though.
